History of John Searcy & Associates, Inc.

John Searcy & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers was incorporated in the State of Florida and established its permanent office in Jacksonville, Florida in December 1985.  This followed the closure of the firm of VanWagenen and Searcy in 1984, which had been in business since 1967.

In summer 2012, ownership of John Searcy & Associates was transferred to two partners - Steve Quina and David Cratem. John Searcy will slow down just a bit continuing as a senior engineer. The high standards which Searcy and Associates is known for will continue.

Our firm produces over 70 projects per year, including Educational, Recreational, Institutional, Commercial and Industrial Electrical Systems.  Many of our projects are for corporate clients and most of our projects are as consultants to architects and other engineering firms.
